Teacher of the Year Nomination Form

This award and the Outstanding Educator Award are sponsored through the Foundation by Don and Linda Eisinger. Mrs. Eisinger, a long-time educator at North Elementary and West Elementary, was the 2004 Teacher of the Year. She then became the 2005 Missouri State Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Eisinger retired from the Jefferson City School District in 2011.

Thank you for nominating a deserving educator for the 2025 Eisinger Teacher of the Year Award! You are welcome to select as many educators as you’d like. The nominated staff member must have five years of teaching experience, with two of those years being served in the Jefferson City School District, and be a full-time, certified teacher, school librarian, guidance counselor, or instructional coach. Principals and other administrators are not eligible for this award.

Nominations are open from November 4, 2024, to December 6, 2024. They are due on December 6, 2024, by 4 PM. Nominated educators will be notified promptly after the nomination. Those educators will then decide whether to go further and submit their application for this award.
