Who we are.

The JC Schools Foundation is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization dedicated to raising funds to support teachers and students of the Jefferson City School District.

Our mission is to champion a legacy of excellence where possibility becomes reality for every student in JC Schools.

Changing the world is possible. We’ve done it before.

The Foundation has awarded over $300,000 to teachers in various school and classroom grants for several years. The Prize Patrol awards funds for schools through innovative teacher ideas, science, math, technology, literacy materials, professional development group training, and other fine arts curriculum needs.

But, we can’t do it alone.

We know there are many needs. Whether you’re most comfortable contributing your skills and time to our volunteer efforts or providing a monetary donation to help us fund grants or supplies for teachers and their classrooms, we welcome and appreciate your support. Now, more than ever, our teachers and students need your help.

The grants I was awarded by The Foundation will bring Biology concepts to life for all students at Capital City High School. The hands-on 3-dimensional learning will engage all students in an understanding of the structure and function of DNA and chromosomes not possible without the models I was able to purchase.
